The heir apparent of Saudi Arabia departs for Egypt on a state visit

CAIRO: Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia has departed for Egypt on an official visit at the request of King Salman, the Saudi Royal Court announced on Tuesday.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is set to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Cairo to discuss a range of issues of mutual interest, the Egyptian Presidential Cabinet stated.

The two leaders will exchange views on regional developments amid recent tensions and changes in the region, while also discussing ways to strengthen Egypt-Saudi relations and expand bilateral cooperation.
